Many people don't really know the real face of Eni, a blood-covered greedy company, that brings with itself a long trail of environmental and human disasters.

Its disgusting tentacles are everywhere. Eni is guilty of a huge number of crimes in several nations: in Italy, for example, we could ascribe to it the pollution of aquifers in Gela. Mothers have dioxin in their blood, in people's blood there is lead, mercury and arsenic; tumors, neonatal malformations and air pollution is very often at very high grade.

Molfetta, another town, was affected by the release of hydrogen sulfites that caused the death of 5 people. The responsibility of that was attributed to many companies, ENI included.

Taranto, a highly industrial pollution affected city, is also poisoned by substances coming from ENI's refinery, which in summer polluted the sea nearby during a leak probably caused by a black-out.

Pyrite toxic waste has afflicted Tuscany over many years. In 2001, the Merse river became as red as fire, and its temperature raised to 38°C. Campiano mines were erupting toxic hot rust slime. Thanks to a student's thesis, the presence of arsenic and mercury in the flesh of the fish was reported, which was then confirmed by an analysis of documents that the levels of heavy metals and other toxic substances were above the allowed safe limits. In the early 2000's another tragic event occured when ENI dispersed 5.300 tons of arsenic into the aquifers.

In Porto Torres, ENI is guilty of an environmental disaster due to its heavy pollution of the sea, which was the result of the release of poisonous substances: analysis reports huge quantities of fuel, well above the allowed limit.

Another well-known disaster in Ravenna, the case called "stirene dispersion" by ENI-Versails (24 h non stop) that brought toxic vapors to the population.

These are just some of the disasters that can be attributed to this exploitative and unscrupulous company and its destructive path made of poison and death.

ENI and its controlled company Saipem are involved in lucrative and destructive exploitation of the poorest countries around the world too; starting from Congo, a state that was born as a sacrifical victim for northern-world encroachers. Created purely to rape the land of its natural resources.

Since its beginning, the Congo area was occupied as personal ownership by King Leopold II of Belgium and his army, whose aims were the exploitation of local natural resources for natural gum extraction.

Those were dozens and dozens of years of torture of the indigenous population by evil white conquerers.

After that in Congo, a land full of primary resources, became a land of exploitation for big mutlinational extracting companies and in the last 20 years many Coltan control wars destroyed the African country.

We can estimate that about 1-2 million people died while extracting minerals for the informatic industry. 

As reports the UN, the militia that shares the mining reserves are contractors paid for by big foreign muti-national extracting companies.

In this scenario, ENI invested 3 billions of dollars for oil sand extraction since 2008.

That means that 1790 square km of Congolese land will be totally cleared, destroying any animal and vegetable life, and compromising their return for a very long time. Moreover, to produce oil from sands causes a huge air contamination, and needs a big amount of water: this contaminated water will inevitably return into the environment that will be polluted once again.

At any rate, ENI now uses the Congo to extract oil in off-shore platforms, experimenting with "innovative" extraction techniques, with the extraordinary results of the Perro Negro 6 platform sinking, property of Saipem, and its relative environmental disaster in 2012.

We also report that ENI recently started drillings in the Sicily channel and oil dispersions will follow soon; ENI itself is charged to do monitoring works in many off-shore platforms (liquid gas) that pollute the seas with chlorine and toxic foams, which not only produces devastation to the life that the water sustains, but it also lowers the overall temperatures.

So our goal is to prove ENI is a tyrranical and environment-destroying lobby, specialized in exploiting the weakest  and indefinsible poisoning. In fact, as reported before, Congo, a destitute land ravaged by war, is the place where ENI makes big business and pollution, without any conscience, causing disaster after disaster. As the same time, ENI contributes to the decline in population of wonderful and defenceless cetaceans near Tirrenic coasts by the building of off-shore gas (liquid gas) platforms.

Vile marauders of mankind and environment, Saipem, ENI, we're finished with watching this natural destruction without recrimination. You force millions of people to contribute to your robberies by paying your "energy" taxes, dirty money gained from the pain and torture of human beings, plants and animals, sacrificial scapegoats for your money, power, and greed.

Molti non conoscono il vero volto di ENI, società assetata di denaro, insanguinata, che porta con sè uno strascico di disastri ambientali e umani.
I suoi tentacoli disgustosi sono ovunque. E' colpevole di numerosi crimini in svariate nazioni:
in Italia, ad esempio, si può annoverare l'inquinamento delle falde acquifere di Gela devastate dalla raffineria. Le madri hanno diossina nel latte, nel sangue  degli abitanti sono presenti piombo, mercurio, arsenico; i tassi di tumore, malformazioni neonatali e concentrazioni di inquinanti nell'aria sono altissimi.
Molfetta venne colpita da una tragedia che causò la morte di 5 persone a causa di esalazioni di idrogeno solforato. La responsabilità coinvolgeva varie società, fra le quali ENI.
Taranto, città già succube dell'inquinamento industriale, è avvelenata anche dalle sostanze provenienti dalla raffineria ENI, che nel periodo estivo hanno invaso il mare durante uno sversamento provocato probabilmente da black-out.
Gli scarti tossici della pirite ammorbano la Toscana da anni. Nel 2001, il fiume Merse diventa rosso fuoco, la temperatura sale fino a raggiungere i 38 gradi. La miniera di Campiano vomitava una melma color ruggine, velenosa e bollente. Grazie a una tesi di laurea viene denunciata presenza di arsenico e mercurio nei pesci. Presenza confermata da analisi che documentano quantità sopra i limiti. Nei primi anni 2000 l'ENI ha riversato circa 5.300 tonnellate di arsenico nelle falde idriche.

Fin da principio l'area del Congo fù occupata come possedimento personale dall'esercito del re del Belgio Leopoldo II nel 1872, destinato allo sfruttamento della mano d'opera locale sottoforma schiavile nell'estrazione del caucciù.
Furono decenni di selvaggie torture perpetrate dagli immondi sfruttatori bianchi ai danni della popolazione locale.
Successivamente in Congo terra ricchissima di materie prime si è traformato in area di razzia per le frosse multinazionali estrattive occidentali e negli ultimi 20 anni un susseguirsi di guerre per il controllo del coltan ha ulteriormente devastato  il paese Africano.
Si possono stimare i morti un 1-2 milioni, mentre i congolesi scavano nel fango minerali preziosi per l'industria informatica .
Come evidenzia un rapporto ONU i miliziani che si spartiscono le riserve minerarie sono mercenari al soldo delle grandi multinazionali estrattive straniere.
Ebbene è in questo contesto che dal 2008 ENI ha investito 3 miliardi di dollari per l'estrazione di sabbie bituminose per la produzione di petrolio.
Ciò significa che 1790 KM quadrati di terreno congolese saranno letteralmente scorticati distruggendo ogni forma di vita animale e vegetale e compromettendone la ricomparsa per un tempo lunghissimo; inoltre produrre petrolio dalle sabbie bituminose provoca un enorme contaminazione dell'aria e necessita di grandi quantità d'acqua nel processo di raffinazione, questa una volta contaminata finirà inevitabilmente nell'ambiente, contaminandolo irremidiabilmente.
L'ENI tuttavia, si serve anche del Congo per estrarre petrolio in piattaforme offshore sperimentando "innovative" tecniche d'estrazione col mirabolante risultato dell'affondamento della piattaforma Perro Negro 6 di propietà Saipem (controllata ENI) e relativo disastro ambientale. I fatti risalgono al 2012.
Segnaliamo inoltre che L'ENI ha iniziato da poco le trivellazioni nel canale di Sicilia e gli sversamenti di petrolio in mare non si sono fatti attendere; ed è sempre l'ENI a svolgere i lavori di montaggio delle molteplici piattaforme offshore (gas liquefatto) che inquinano i mari con cloro e schiume tossiche abbassandone anche le temperature.
Non ci sbaglieremo di molto, quindi se additeremo l'ENI come cricca usurpatrice e devastatrice dell'ambiente specializzata nell'avvelenamento dei più deboli, ed indifesi, infatti come sopra riportato, è in Congo,paese poverissimo e martoriato da un'interminabile guerra,che l'ENI fa affari d'oro ed inquina indisturbatamente a colpi di disastri ambientali, così come la stessa ENI dà il suo contributo alla moria dei meravigliosi ed indifesi cetacei sulle coste tirreniche, costruendo le piattaforme gasiere offshore.
Vili predoni del genere umano e dell'ambiente, Saipem, ENI siamo stanchi di assistere inermi allo scempio della natura; costringete milioni di persone a contribuire alle vostre razzie? Pagando per la fornitura della vostra "energia" lercia del dolore di uomini, piante e animali, capri espiatori sacrificati sull'altare della vostra smania di denaro e potere.

Anglo American is a British multinational mining company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. They are the world's largest primary producer of platinum (accounting for about 38% of the worldwide annual supply) and mine many other things like diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore and metallurgical and thermal coal. Many subsidaries belong to Anglo American: Anglo-gold, AngloGold Ashanti, Anglo American Platinum (Amplat).

It has operations in Africa, Asia, Australia , Europe, North America and South America

Based in South Africa, most of the group's operations lie in the northwest and northeast of Johannesburg. A majority of the company's operations take place in the Bushveld Igneous Complex, a large region that contains a range of mineral commodities including chromium, vanadium, titaniferous magnetite and platinum group metals.

Anglo American Platinum filed SLAPPs (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) against a South African (public interest) lawyer Richard Spoor, who represented indigenous communities affected by platinum mining on tribal land. 

Actions included: an application in the High Court for a so-called gagging order, ostensibly to prevent him further injuring the good name and reputation of the corporation; the lodging of complaints with the Law Society of  unprofessional behaviour; and the lodging of a civil action for damages for $500,000.

Anglo American Platinum also obtained an ex parte (without notice) order interdicting two tribal chiefs from interfering with their mining operations and had them arrested with charges of intimidation and trespass. 

Subsequently, followers of the two tribal chiefs were shot, beaten and arrested for protesting the mine's presence on the tribal land.

In August 2007, British charity War on Want published a report accusing  Anglo American Platinum's parent company Anglo American of profiting from the abuse of people in the (developing) countries in which the company operates.

In the report, Anglo American Platinum is accused of displacing communities in South Africa, including forcing the entire Magobading community off its land and into the Mecklenberg township.

In late October, 2012, security forces opened fire on mineworkers using rubber bullets. South African Miners have been striking since September 2012, and many of them have been injured and killed.

Anglo American has mines, suchas Catalão, in Brazil, where they dig niobium and phosphates that are used to produce fertilizer, glyphosate, and herbicides like Monasanto's Round-up, which caused water contamination and genetic mutations.

Great multinationals use "greenwashing" in order to avert human rights complaints.

So large firms raise funds from people declaring to protect mining war-areas and they use this money in order to get a better control of public opinion and mining areas.

We say enough to all of this, 

We refuse this great lie which sounds like the Nazi propaganda of the 30s.

Anglo American, you destroy nature and pursue and kill indigenous people.

In 1998 a war for coltan growed up. This had been prooved by UN's trial .

Firms like  Nokia,Sony,Apple,Siemens,Philips, etc... where indirectly involved in the  war because they buought a lot of coltan and other mineral exactly when the  conflict was developing. Now there is a new war in Congo and these companies are still using a lot of coltan and ores.

AVX It's a big firm wich produce ceramic and tantalum capacitors, connectors, thick and thin film capacitors, resistors and integrated passive components.

AVX was directly involved in Congo war of 1998.
UN accused AVX, and many other firms to be interested in illegal coltan extraction and war in DRC

Usually Coltan was stolen by war groups from Congo mines and carried out to the firms.
Million of people lost their lives in Congo war, nature was destroied in order to dig coltan and a lots of gorillas were killed.
Unfortunatelly UN decided to abandon the case and never punish the responsibles of the war an nature devastation.

Coltan, and more other minerals, are digged whith bare hands with an exhausting and unsafe work. 

Coltan is quite radioactive so miners have terrible illness.
Also a commitee by the english government called RAID collected imputations against TRAXYS and other firms involved in Congo war. Mrs Feeney was an important member of RAID's committee.
She said that UN received strong pressures from USA and other counrties in order to stop the trial,she also said that the accuses were true.
So,now in 2012 the situation in Congo is not far from 1998. A civil war has grew up in Kivu, east Congo, in 2012 and it's due to the warlord Mr.Ntaganda formerly involved in 1998 war for coltan. We underline that
Kivu in very rich in coltan mines. So we know that AVX was directly involved in Congo's
war in 1998 but no one force them to pay for their crimes and in 2012 no one can guarantee that AVX is not taking coltan from Congo's war areas.

AVX and other involved firms published an ethical code in 2010; they claim that they don't get tantalium from war areas.
NOW a new civil war is growing up in Congo and is totally hypocrite to share DRC in different areas in order to say that some of these are war free.
AVX, UN trial refused to punish you, but operationgreenrights doesn't forget.
AVX, is the time to pay for your crimes, the trial is the whole mankind.

AVX  a été directement impliqués dans la guerre au Congo de 1998.

GreenRight's replies to Traxys' answer about illegal lead ore traffic

The UN recently accused Traxys and other companies of being involved in Congo's war of 1998.
Traxys is an international company whose core business is raw ore refining.
The trial conducted by the UN showed that Traxys bought coltan and other ores knowing perfectly well that they came from Congo.
The raw ores and rare earths originating from Congo are extracted, handled and sold by local warlords  and then usually sold to big international firms for refining and use in commercial products.
The trial took place in early 2000. The British government created an association called RAID in order to properly asses the country of origin of rare earths.
The UN never sanctioned Traxys and other firms involved.  Mrs Feeney, who was an important member of RAID said that, nevertheless, the UN trial had legal ground.
She said that the UN was pressured by the US Govt. and other coutries to stop the trial.
We know that in 2012 a new war is brewing up in KIVU in the East Congo, and KIVU is located in an area with several ore deposits and mines.
OperationGreenRights found an email in Traxys' site database.
It was sent from the "salvakalumba" email address.
The mail clearly show that "salvakalumba" is offering 30000 Mt of lead ore from DRC to Traxys.
The mail also shows clearly that "salvakalumba" is offering to move the lead ore to Cingola in Zambia with the intent of disguising the country of origin to circumvent the European laws that regulate the commerce of rare earths.
This is not the first time that Traxys has conducted business with shady/paramilitary goups.

Traxys's reply to GreenRight's accusations:
They say that from 2009 Traxys terminated all of its activities in that part of the Congo, and since then has conducted no business activities in that territory.
Now in 2012, all the firms which sell ores to Traxys know that it doesn't buy minerals from East-Congo; it's very unlikely that someone today would offer minerals from Eastern Congo to Traxys because dealers knows that since 2009 Traxys has rejected those kind of offers. So it's likely that "salvakalumba" sent this mail by mistake. This fact is a demonstration that Traxis probably knows who "salvakalumba" is.
All these facts show that "salvakalumba"'s mail is a clue to Traxys.
Ovbiously Traxys also replied that they didn't know who "salvakalumba" was and that they never entered in a business relation with him.
They also say that the anonymous enquiry was unsolicited.
#OperationGreenRights knows that its action against Traxys were unsolicited, but we know that Traxys has never paid for their crimes in 1998's Congo war, and now in 2012 this email from "salvakalumba" is a hint to Traxys's illegal trade.
We also remember that in the DRC ores are digged in unfair conditions and many wild animals were killed in order to dig minerals.
We ask for a new trial by the UN in order to invesitgate Traxys's activities and other major companies in the DRC and in other war areas.
Naturally, the bad working conditions of miners and the respect for the ecosystem should be investigated.

Un trial in 2001 accused Kemet and Traxys to be involved in Congo civil war of 1998. It was a war for Congo's ores in particular for coltan. Lot's of people digged coltan with bare hand for few money. Coltan is quite radioactive so workers had terrible injuries. Also Nature got devasted in order to dig coltan and most of the wild animals got killed. Now the situation is not very changed A civil war,by mrs Ntaganda,warlord formerly involved in 1998 war, is growing up in Kivu, a reagion of DRC very rich of coltan and minerals. We find an email in Traxys' database wich proof that traxys is interest in illegal lead ore trade from Congo.
The email cleary says that the lead ore is carried from Congo to Zambia. This behaviuor was typical of warlords involved in 1998 Congo's war for coltan. So this fact look very strange. Probably the lead ore is taken to Zambia in order to permitt traxys to say that the ore comes from Zambia and not from war areas in Congo.
Further more, Traxys declare on 8 May 2012 to stop mineral sourching from Congo's war areas. So probably Traxys is lieing to everyone.

The UN trial of 2001 about congo's war in 1998 showed that the conflict was a fight to

control Congo's coltan mines.
